So, I bought this tripod for a lighter hiking/commuting tripod solution as the couple of tripods I have which are skilled grade are each with SLIK pro series legs, moderately heavy, both with heavy heads. I love the legs that include this tripod, and do not get me wrong, but in case you are preparing on shooting using the tripod head provided, be warned that it's going to not assistance considerably weight, which means: confident it will not break and drop your camera or anything, however it will not stay put exactly where you set it, and also impossible to shoot with the camera tilted at 90 degrees, regardless of what lens is on my 1D it wont stay put sideways at all.
